From Science to Art: The Journey of a Cultural Ambassador
From a young age, I found myself at the crossroads of logic and creativity. My studies took me into the rigorous world of computer science and software engineering, while my heart led me towards visual arts, graphic design, and architecture. This diverse path shaped my unique approach, blending precision with imagination.
The Beginnings: Where Engineering Met Art
I was just 20 when I started to work in the artistic field, even while pursuing my university education. While the technical side of software engineering sharpened my problem-solving skills, the visual arts allowed me to explore deeper layers of expression. It was during these formative years that I realized the potential of merging logic with creativity, understanding that art could be the visual code that speaks directly to the human mind.
A New Chapter: Moving to Italy
After a few years of immersing myself in the artistic world, I made a life-changing decision to move to Italy. This country, with its rich artistic heritage and culture, felt like the perfect place to expand my vision. Here, I didn’t just continue my work but found a new purpose: to connect Italian creativity and craftsmanship with the world.
The Bridge Between Italy and Iran
It was in Italy that I saw the opportunity to build a bridge between two ancient civilizations — Italy and Iran. I began working on internationalization projects, helping Italian companies enter new markets, particularly in the Middle East. My efforts went beyond mere business; I became a cultural connector, introducing new techniques and fostering commercial exchanges that were grounded in deep mutual respect and understanding.
In 2015, after years of hard work with colleagues from trade fairs across the world, I organized the first “Made in Italy” exhibition at the International Trade Fair in Tehran. It was a historic event, bringing together many Italian companies and showcasing the best of Italian innovation and design. This project was not just about business; it was about building relationships, sharing knowledge, and blending the unique strengths of both nations.
Shifting Focus: The Art of Overcoming Challenges
The imposition of sanctions on Iran marked a turning point in my career. With fewer opportunities to continue my commercial work in the region, I decided to shift my focus back to the arts. I embraced this change as a chance to return to my roots and dedicate myself fully to creative expression.
Now, as an author of songs and a visual artist, I channel my experiences into themes that resonate with the world’s current issues. Whether it’s the delicate balance of nature, social justice, or the quest for peace, my work aims to touch the human soul and inspire reflection.
Art as a Tool for Change
In my view, art is a powerful tool that connects with the human brain in ways that words alone cannot. It has the potential to convey messages that make people think about issues they might overlook in their daily lives. By blending beauty with emotion, art has the ability to spark new ideas and perspectives. For me, it is a means to combat life’s sorrows and celebrate its beauty, to heal wounds, and to plant seeds of hope and inspiration.
Through my journey, I have learned that the true value of art lies in its ability to speak to the collective human experience. It’s a universal language, one that crosses borders and bridges divides. My mission now is to use this language not only for self-expression but to continue building that bridge between cultures, fostering understanding and appreciation through creativity.
A Vision for the Future
Looking ahead, I am more dedicated than ever to my role as a cultural ambassador. Whether through song, design, or collaboration, I strive to create works that reflect the shared humanity between East and West. In a world often divided by politics and misunderstandings, I believe in the power of art to remind us of our common dreams and desires.
In many ways, my journey is just beginning. With every new project, I continue to learn, evolve, and connect. As long as there is beauty to discover and stories to tell, I will be there, blending the logical mind of an engineer with the boundless heart of an artist.
